What does your store sell and why? Who's your target audience?

Fine Jewelry, born and raised in Berlin.

We believe that every woman deserves jewelry that lives up to the high bar she sets. So we focus on what matters: durable materials built for everyday wear and tear, transparent pricing, sustainable production to offset our carbon footprint and tangible giving for a sparkling conscience. 

 

What was the biggest challenge you faced in creating your store?

Getting lost in adjusting little details that weren't really important. 

 

What worked really well when using our platform?

It was really easy to add products. It's very intuitive and it only took seconds. I also love the preview option. It allows you to make and see changes instantly. 

 

What could be improved when using our platform?

It would be helpful to get a suggested color palate that goes with a specific theme. 

 

How did this experience help you build empathy for our merchants?

A: I realized that it is really important to have a vision, a story and to know how you want to brand yourself before starting to build a store. I did it vice versa and immediately got lost in little things like adjusting the color before settling on an audience and I also had to re-do a couple of things afterwards. 

 

What is your biggest takeaway from this experience? 

A: It seems really easy to open a store but since there are so many features available (and I haven't even looked at the app store) it'll take some time to get used to them and to really figure out which features work best for you. It's really helpful to see which challenges merchants might have and to step into their shoes. It's the best way to learn about their experiences.
